Path to Helping Leads To, Through, St. Ambrose University
At SAU, hard work = recognition. Here is a list of full-time students who were named to the St. Ambrose University Dean's List for the Fall 2023 term. These students earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).

Legacy families are not new to St. Ambrose University. There are many family trees whose branches are laden with proud Ambrosians, but the limbs of the Henkhaus and Gannaway trees are especially ripe with St. Ambrose history.

When her 4-year-old brother gashed his knee falling off his bike, 8-year-old Mallory Sauer ‘23 rushed to his aid. She was crushed that she couldn't quiet his cries, sitting next to him as the family drove to the hospital for stitches. From that day on, she knew what she would do when she grew up—take care of people.
Anahi Ceniceros's 26-year-old sister, Vanessa, cannot walk or talk. She crawls around the first story of her family's Muscatine home, sticking close to her caregivers. Anahi thinks their presence gives Vanessa comfort even if she's never said so.
